May 27, 2022

New Project Managers

Egan Sign hires 4 new Project Managers to keep up with growth. Our client lists and current accounts are quickly growing as businesses across the nation thrive after reopening. Luckily, we found 4 new people who not only have the necessary skills to keep up with the workload but fit our company culture. We are with Simon Sinek in the belief that “You don’t hire for skills, you hire for attitude. You can always teach skills.”  Thankfully, we found both! Keep reading to get to know our new project managers:

Meredith Acosta - Project Manager

Meredith Acosta, CAPM

Meredith started her career in Project Management 5 years ago in the Greater Philadelphia area. During that time, she earned her Associate of Project Management Certification (CAPM) and gained a treasure trove of skills and experience managing projects and processes which she brings to Egan.

Speaking about her new role as Project Manager, “I’m really happy to be with Egan Sign. Everyone’s been really supportive and I’m enjoying the work I’ve been doing.”

On a personal note, Meredith loves going on adventures with her husband and daughter. Their favorite places to explore are parks and wineries. She is also a huge Harry Potter fan and is a self-proclaimed Ravenclaw. There is no doubt that Ravenclaws make great project managers. To learn more about her, connect with Meredith on LinkedIn.

Erik Carl - Project Manager

Erik Carl

Erik has over 15 years in the sign industry, managing projects in healthcare, retail, petroleum, and more. He started his sign career working for a local hospital in their sign department. Learning all the sign basics, he weeded and assembled his way to becoming shop lead. From there, he filled Production and Project Management roles in various sign companies. In these new roles, he became a well-rounded asset in the industry.

When it comes to signs, Erik believes “Signs are such a vital and important part of our everyday lives, and there is a lot of joy that can be found in helping to bring a brand to life through signs and graphics.” With a background in signs and management, he is a perfect fit for our growing team.

In his free time, Erik enjoys spending time with his family, and dog, Bowie. He also loves hiking and coaching his daughter’s softball team. On the weekend, you can catch Erik on lead guitar and vocals performing in one of his many bands. Connect with Erik on LinkedIn.

Paige Furlong - Project ManagerPaige Furlong

After serving 4 years in the navy, Paige truly learned how a team works. From there, she used those team-focused skills to successfully lead departments and manage projects in her career.

Paige came to Egan looking for that team environment and support again. She says, “Joining the Egan Sign team has been inspirational and uplifting. I am definitely excited to learn the sign industry and grow with everyone involved.”

When not working, Paige loves gaming, sports, and watching movies with plenty of food in tow. She also enjoys watching hockey with her mini bull terrier, Goon. When their team scores, Goon celebrates with zoomies! Connect with Paige on LinkedIn.

Hannah Martin - Program ManagerHannah Martin

Hannah spent most of her career in the mental health industry starting on the ground level by assisting individuals with mental health disorders. She quickly realized she could make a bigger difference by managing the facility’s programs instead. Working her way up to a Director position, Hannah was able to influence change that would benefit all individuals.

After 9 years of dedication, Hannah was ready for a career change. She comments about joining the sign industry, “I’m a big believer that our visual surroundings greatly affect our perception of an experience. Signs are one of the first things a customer sees when encountering a business. I’m honored that I get to partner with our clients to ensure their customers’ first impression is a good one!”

When she’s not managing projects, Hannah enjoys getting lost in a good novel and being a plant mom. She also loves traveling with her husband and spending quality time with her family where they cook and eat good food. Connect with Hannah on LinkedIn.
