Egan Sign Announces New President
January 15, 2016Egan Sign, a national sign management and corporate rebranding company, today announced the appointment of John Dever to become its new president. Dever comes to Egan Sign from a 16-year term as president and COO of Bills Khakis, an upscale men’s fashion brand located in Reading, PA. At Bills Khakis, Dever was responsible for leading a team of 30 employees and overseeing the company’s operations and financial management, as well as developing and executing marketing strategies.
Dever is a seasoned leader and manager, experienced in both B2B and B2C business sectors. He led Bills Khakis to become a five time participant in Inc. Magazine’s Inner City 100 list, recognizing the company as one of the fastest growing inner-city companies in the U.S. While a management consultant at Tweed Weber, Inc., John worked with over fifty small- to mid-sized companies in both manufacturing and service sectors. Dever holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from Albright College.
Dever will be responsible for both day-to-day and strategic leadership of the organization. He will play a key role in managing the organization as it grows by coaching and mentoring team members and promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration. He will also be responsible for interviewing, hiring and training new employees.
Bob Egan, the owner and current president of Egan Sign, will continue with the company as chairman and CEO.
